Countertops & Surfaces

Custom Fabrication

One thing that truly sets Denise's apart from other local shops is that we design and fabricate our own countertops, so virtually any custom counter you can dream up, we can create.

Natural Stone

The use of stone as a countertop material has existed for many hundreds of years. Born out of the necessity in the European homes of the past, large slabs of marble and limestone served their purpose as durable and functional surfaces, lasting the lifespan of the home. Man has created many different materials since this first countertop of stone, but even today, most will agree that nature has provided us with the most beautiful and functional material for the kitchen.

Quartz

Quartz countertops offer several benefits. They are non-porous, so the material will not harbor bacteria and is stain resistant. It is a very dense material, which makes it impact and scratch resistant. Quartz materials come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, some of which look like natural granite, marble, limestone and concrete. These materials are comprised of a blend of 93% quartz and 7% polyester resin that is pressed into slabs using a “vibrocompression vacuum process”. After the blocks cure, they are cut into sheets with thicknesses of 2cm or 3cm.
